Twin Cities Walk to End Alzheimer’s
The Walk to End Alzheimer’s represents a special cause for the Give Back Crew and has become a perennial favorite event for our team. On September 5th, 2019, the GBC team will once again walk in the Twin Cities Walk to End Alzheimer’s at Target Field in Minneapolis. Last year, the Twin Cities Walk to End Alzheimer’s was one of the nation’s largest Walk to End Alzheimer’s events, raising more than $1 million for the Alzheimer’s Association. We’re looking forward to once again raising money and awareness to help stop this disease that affects so many of us and our loved ones. We can’t wait to get back out there and ring the signature bells to help raise money for the Salvation Army and its services. To learn more about the Salvation Army, visit their website here >>

Second Harvest Heartland Pack Event – 5/17/18
May 17th marks the day when the Minnesota GBC will return to Second Harvest Heartland to pack meals for neighbors in need. Second Harvest is among the nation’s largest network of food banks, working to store and distribute food to food insecure community members right in our own neighborhoods. In August, the team packed 1,390 pounds of food. This May, they’ll look to break their own record in an effort to help hungry Minnesotans.
March for Babies (PA) – 5/5/18
On May 5th, the Pennsylvania Give Back Crew team will walk in the Northeast Pennsylvania March for Babies. The goal of the March for Babies is to help more babies be born healthy by providing resources to mothers from preconception to post-delivery. If you’re in the area, we encourage you to stop by, say hi, and learn more!
Relay for Life (PA)
On April 6th, members from the Pennsylvania division of the Give Back Crew linked up at East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania to participate in the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life. The Relay for Life is the signature fundraising event for the American Cancer Society, and this year’s East Stroudsburg relay raised over $25,000.
Last March, eight team members from the Minnesota wing of the Give Back Crew gathered at Buck Hill in Burnsville, Minnesota for the 20th annual Bedrace for Bridging. Bridging is a Twin Cities-based charity that furnishes homes for those in need.
